I have several items that use the @ sigh in examples and passwords. How do I stom Excell from automatically calling up the internet?

Select File > Options.

Select Proofing, then click the AutoCorrect Options... button.

Activate the AutoFormat As You Type tab.

Clear the check box 'Internet and network paths with hyperlinks'.

OK your way out.

Remark: the change will only apply from now on. Existing hyperlinks will not be affected.

@Hans VogelaarThank you so much. This has been driving me crazy for years. So, again, thank you.
