I am trying to figure a simple formula.  In Column D I have a dollar amount; in Column E I have "Paid" which is next to the dollar amount paid (obviously).  Is there a formula that once I type "Paid" it will automatically take the dollar amount beside it and add to the total at the bottom of the page?  Am I making sense?

For Total Amount Paid:

=SUMIF(E2:E5,"Paid",D2:D5)

For Total Amount Pending:

=SUMIF(E2:E5,"",D2:D5)
