Hi,
Hoping someone can help me. I have office porfessional plus 2010 student edition. Got it through a campus bookstore online so it came as a download. Office works well but I tried to install the solver add-in and have had problems. I get an error message that says I will be able to see solver but will not be able to use it to solve problems. when I try to load it I get another error message that excel can't find solver32.dllm which is located in the office folder.
I have tried:
1) uninstalling and reinstalling office
2) reinstalling the solver and browsing to where solver32.dll is located
3) copying solver from another computer where it does work and putting it into the same place on my computer.
I am getting very frustrated as I need to be able to use solver but am not finding solutions
