Transferring drop down list cell formatting to other cells

Copper Contributor

I created a drop down list with a corresponding table that has the conditional cell formatting rules where a cell turns a certain color based on the choice selected in the drop down list.

How do I make another cell in the same row turn that color based on the other cell drop down menu choice, yet still retain the text in the secondary cell turning color?

Someone sent me a link to office.com, already been there and couldn't find what I was looking for which is why I am asking here.

Hello,
The question is slightly unclear. However, you will need to create another Conditional Formatting using New Rule and Choose a Formula..based on the other drop down cell value
