Tracking by date

I have been tasked with tracking safety training required by each staff member.  Each set of training has a different expiry date (eg: 5 years).  I would like to input a formula which will turn the date red once it has reached expiry.

An example would be:

                     Ladder Safety (3 years)

John Doe      12/5/2019

                      (How do I get this to turn red on 12/5/2022)

@AMous411 Could you post a screenshot of the layout (without sensitive information)? Or attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?
