It may be a simple question to most but how to you change the $ sign to £ sign in Excel

To make the permanent changes from $ to euro, kindly follow the steps below
1. Type in Control Panel on your computer
2. In Regional Settings, click Change Date, Time and Currency format
3. Click on Additional Settings below
4. Select Currency tab
5. Select euro symbol from the Currency dropdown
6. Click OK

Note, you may have to repeat steps 5 and 6 twice to have the changes.

Next time you format numbers in Excel, you will have the euro currency formatting
