I could use some assistance regarding a formula that accounts for hours worked differential.
Criteria :
Differential pay is 10% of hourly pay + hourly. SO employee makes $10/hr would get paid $11/hr
Differential hours are any hours worked between 10pm - 6am on any day of the week but has to work at least for an hr so some who clocked out at 10:30 pm would not get 30 mins of diff pay
OT is any volunteered shifts outside of the scheduled 40 hour work week. Once they hit 40hrs they get time and a half. Diff pay is always based off base rate.
I have already worked out negative time for the shifts that span past midnight and I've accounted for the 40 hour work week. Not sure where to start on the differential formula. Any help would be much appreciated.
