Hi.
For an academic essay I need to input times from an experiment and then do a series of other calculations from there. The times that I need to input are in a format of mm:ss.x (eg. 07:58.9) in the first column, and then from there find the average pace (found by dividing the original time by 4 (so it would be 07:58.9/4 = 01:59.7) and then I would use this data to calculate the next value and so on.
Every time that I have tried to input the first value, it formats it into a time of day (ie. 12:07:59 am) which doesn't work for the experiment data.
Is there any way to get it so it allows me to just put the time without it turning into time of day? I am aware that I could calculate it manually for each individual value and just input the values as text but I would have to do it over 50 times so if I can avoid it that would be preferable
If this doesn't make sense please let me know.
