Tabs disappear in Viewing mode

Occasional Visitor
Hi

I am working on an online Excel document in Onedrive and everything time I leave and go back onto the document it opens in viewing mode, but one of my tabs is missing each time. When I click back into editing mode it reappears but I don't know how to make it viewable on the viewing mode.

  • For keyboard users, you can use CTRL + F6 or WIN + ALT to invoke the ribbon.

  • For touch users, simply scroll back up or tap the title bar to bring it back. Scrolling up and down quickly will also trigger showing and hiding the ribbon.

Show or hide the ribbon in Office

The ribbon is a set of toolbars at the top of the window in Office programs designed to help you quickly find the commands that you need to complete a task.

Show the ribbon

The Ribbon has multiple display options to fit your preferences, but with an errant click, you can unintentionally hide your Ribbon.

Hope this information could help you.

Wish you a nice day.
