I wanted to see why you have to reference the criteria exactly in a sun ifs formula or if there is a work around it? I would like to be able to drag and drop this formula to automatically use new criteria for each month but I cannot put the cell in the formula, I tried using concatenate and it appears only the exact spelled name/number work for the criteria. So I have 2 sumifs in my formula and 4 formulas per month so it is annoying having to update the name 8 times for every month.
Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?
Actually disregard, I think I was just trying to keep the parentheses before and after putting the cell in the criteria and that is why it was not working
