Hello all;
I'm having terrible issues trying to sum a specifc interval , which contains the total time of each flight made by the planes of my company (It is an Air Taxi).
The issue is: when I made the SUM formula in order to get the total time flew in the month, the excel returned me just 06:22 we it had to be approximately 49 hours total.
I've tried to run through some troubleshooting such as:
- change the number format
- convert any formula to a number
- copy and paste this column into a new and clean excel file
- write each cell manually
And so on...
You can find below part of this interval, just as an example to show the data i'm talking about and trying sum.
I've attached some prints demonstrating when I select different intervals, there is a huge difference between the results.

Set the number format of the cell(s) with the sum formula to the custom format [h]:mm
The square brackets [ ] around the h tell Excel to display the result as cumulative time instead of clock time.
