Stockhistory function appears to no longer be updating past Feb 10 2023

From what I can see, the Stockhistory function has stopped pulling data.

Last date of data is Feb 10 2023. It does not give data past that date. It is not giving an error. It will pull older data before that date.

I have tried restarting computer.

I have checked for updates to Win11 and Office. Office updated.

I'm using Office 365 for enterprise

Since I'm not seeing more outcry about this I'm wondering if there is something that I need to do on my end.

There is one other post on this site. But I can find no other posts complaining about this.

One more option is to find blog here where STOCKHISTORY() was announced and put the comment on it directly mentioning the author of the blog. If (s)he still works on Microsoft some chance it'll be answered.

There are no rules as "some number of votes - answered, another number of votes - fixed".

All depends on Microsoft internal plans, their relationships with providers (Relativ in this case) and personality of the manager who is responsible for the product.

The Excel 365 "LIVE STOCK" command was my backup for the somewhat unpredictable Stockhistory... but it is also broken now! Not clear what prices that the Live Stock is showing now. With markets closed, they are neither showing Close Price nor After-market Price. Darn.
Yesterday, Thursday, took a few hours past normal for Stockhistory to load data.
Today, Friday 17th, it is loading for me at 8:30 PM Pacific. I didn't try it before that.
I haven't tried Live Stock.
Live Stock is only on Excel 365 now. There's actually a ~15-minute delay, so not truly "live". It's easy to use, doesn't need any coding, and can pull out all sorts of info, e.g. Beta, P/E, shares outstanding, price etc. It's also very stable, except past couple of days.

But we can't use to to get prices at a specific date (which Stockhistory does)... which is a shame because if we want to lock in a close price for the month, e.g. for your month-end column, we're out of luck. Stockhistory is great for this... if only it is more stable!
STOCKHISTORY doing the thing again. Updates for BTCUSD and ETHUSD stopped as of 10/19/23. I contacted Microsoft support and was told to do an Office 365 repair. I did (didn't work obviously) and asked if there was a backend data issue (because they happen frequently) and was basically told to buzz off, do my app repair, and be happy with whatever the outcome. Looks like I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and figure out my own pricing database to populate via Python and Yahoo Finance. STOCKHISTORY could be so great, but it simply isn't stable.

@DismalDave you are not the only one I have seen posts from 2020 and 2023, I have the same problem as of 12/1/2023.  I wish Microsoft once for all fix these updating issues we are having.  Why does it all of a sudden just stop updating? nothing has changed with my settings.  Just real frustrating.  you mean to tell me they can be on the forefront of Generative AI but can't get the data to refresh?
