Stockhistory function appears to no longer be updating past Feb 10 2023

Copper Contributor

From what I can see, the Stockhistory function has stopped pulling data.

Last date of data is Feb 10 2023. It does not give data past that date. It is not giving an error. It will pull older data before that date.

I have tried restarting computer.

I have checked for updates to Win11 and Office. Office updated.

I'm using Office 365 for enterprise

Since I'm not seeing more outcry about this I'm wondering if there is something that I need to do on my end.

There is one other post on this site. But I can find no other posts complaining about this.

One day of blindness.

Hooray, until next time.

3/6/23 Monday, it looks like we are having trouble again.
As of 9:30 PM Pacific I'm not getting anything. Nada.

It normally has shown up by 6:30 PM.

Looks like all stocks are working. Good enough for me.

But, Currency, some ETS, and Crypto are not working. Sorry for those of you using those.

Hopefully they keep working on this. Would love to know what the cause was. but doubt that will come out.

I have the same issue and the answer I received  : "This known issue is being known by the Excel team and is being actively investigated. If the server data is back to normal, there will be a version update to state that the STOCKHISTORY function issue fixed."

@DismalDave

I did not get a chance to login. Had to set up a second account.

For the second time today I ran Update and this time it had an update for 2023-02 Win11 and .NET

I did both of those expecting that would solve the problem. It did not.

Still no data past the date of Feb 2 2023. ****************************************************

I'm not sure why this isn't showing up when I look at the thread. But it was sent to my email.

I was hoping someone had a way to check with MSFT internally.

Re: STOCKHISTORY function

Spoke with tech support midnight last night. He told me they know about the problem and the engineers are working to resolve the problem. He said wait 24 hrs and retest. Let's hope they are able to resolve the problem soon.

@DismalDave only data from 2/10/23 and prior was available for me today.

I am having the same issue as yours.
My post is up to 117 views. Looks like we are not the only ones.
I have no clue as to how to contact MSFT to see if they are working on this. I have an account through a college and can only talk to them, and then hope they will pass it on.
I tried to give them as much info as I could. At first I thought it was due to their method of making us do updates in order to have stuff work again. But, that wasn't it.

the same issue

no data after 2-10-23

Same problem here. All spreadsheets aren't retrieving past 2-10-23.

I am also having the same issue... no data past Feb10th 2023

@DismalDave   I'm traveling in South America and thought maybe it was a local issue but it is not working for me either.

Same issue here, Mac, Excel 365, last update Feb-10.
Well at least I am not alone, same issue here

Still not working as of 6:45 am EST on Feb 15 2023 @DismalDave

Still no fix as of 7:33am EST @MarkjL

@DismalDave I'm having the same problem...who do we contract?? this is an urgent matter!!

I am having the same issue. Stock history function is not updating after 10th Feb 2023.
Also contacted support...been waiting for them to call Me back...hope they solve this issue urgently. My whole model depends on this live prices 😞
It could be an issue with the data supplier Refinitiv. I've looked them up and there's been no word on this issue yet. Stay tuned.

@DismalDave

I have the same problem, but the .Price formula still works for seeing live prices on the current day.
