Stock prices within excel are no longer working for me. I enter the stock identifier and change the cell to the stock data type eg xasx:bhp, which is working fine. But when I try and reference that cell to get a price for instance I get a pop up that says "there is something wrong with this formula".
I am trying to get the price by the formula =B19.price, where the stock identifier is in cell B19. When I type the formula I'm getting the drop down list of options like 52 week low, 52 week high, price, % change etc so it seems the formula is formatted correctly and excel is presenting me with the data fields available, however after selecting any of the fields and hitting enter I get the pop up. Any help would be great, I have no idea why this almost self generating formula is not being accepted.
