I am trying to create two spreadsheets that communicate with each other one active will be manually updated, the other master will be updated when the active is updated, but the master sheet i want the information to just keep adding to it not delete an item if i delete it from the active sheet. how do i do this

Enter data in multiple worksheets at the same time

In Excel, you can enter the same data into several worksheets without retyping or copying and pasting the text into each one. For example,see in the upper link.
