Split cells in Excel (IOS) based on font format

Copper Contributor

Hi I am trying to split data based on bold text formatting v unbold.

For example How to catch a star Oliver Jeffers.

I need the unbold text to go into Column B. I have no idea if this is possible. If you can help, that would lovely - please treat me as if you are speaking to an absolute beginner in excel :)

Hi,

I'm pretty sure that you can't have both bold and unbold text in one cell. Assuming you have bold and unbold texts in a range and you want to filter out the bold ones, I've written this answer.

Anyways this link helped me when I had a similar ask:

Hope it helps!
