#SPILL

Hello, i am just trying to make a connection between 2 sheets and it doesn't work. connection is between 2 marged cells to 2 marged cells. it comes like  #SPILL . It is date - so after connection is going to SPILL, if i change format from general to Short date it comes like 

=@'Cover sheet'!K8:L8

it comes like VALUE!

='Cover sheet'!K8:L8 returns range from two values, if you have not enough space to it that will be #SPILL error

=@'Cover sheet'!K8:L8 returns #VALUE error since here there is no conversion to array and back to range

=@VALUE('Cover sheet'!K8:L8) shall return value from K8
