i was working in excel, creating and changing some macros. suddenly the file closed and i had to open a repaired version. the file is fine however i can no longer sort in any file at all, not even a simple sort of a single column of numbers. i opened in safe mode and was able to sort. i have no com add-ins or any other add-ins. when i try to sort a box appears on the bottom custom status bar next to the average, count & sum functions which just says "sort:" followed by a blank box
