Solving for simple equations

I want the answer to a simple equation to appear in last column of a table.  

The equation is B2-D2-x=27

I want the answer to x to appear in E2.  I know there is a way to make this happen but I have yet to find it.

Enter this formular if C3 is "X"
=(B3-D3)-C3

=(B2-D2)-C2 ...if C2 is "x" ....enter this formular in E2. For the sake of being correct since you requested E2
