[Solved] Power Query Editor missing in Excel 2016 pro plus

Copper Contributor

Hi everyone,

I just changed my pro labtop and I am facing issues with the combine feature.

Before, I was using the regular steps to merge and combine data from different source files. But now the combine button is missing.

Please find enclosed a picture taken from my colleague's computer showing the "Combine' button which is missing on mine. (in french sorry for that).

I already checked the installation of Office 2016 pro +, the add-on installation.

It is weird and I have no idea about the reason of this behavior.

There is another way to combine data with another button but I have a DataFormat.Error with details : Binary.

Any idea ?

Many thank's because I use also some programs computed with M-Langage and nothing works anymore :(

Hi,

the problem is solved. A clever tech guy noticed the folder dedicated to the addin Power query was partially filled. Some files were missing. He replaced the content of the folder by the full package of files.

Hi there. I'm experiencing similar issue, unable to see the combine option as described above. I have office 2016 and I'm using Windows 10 Professional.

Can someone help? Thanks.
