slicer issues

when attempting to attach multiple charts or pivot tables to a slicer, it fails to include all of the pivot tables or charts on the reported connections tab. Is there something that i am doing wrong or is there a particular way to format the slicer or pivot table to attach multiple ones together? I am stumped, youtube and my college professors havent been able to help.

you can connect a slicer only to Pivot tables that have the same source table. So if you have a Pivot that connects to source data table1 and another Pivot that connects to source data table2, you would need two slicers.

Only if all pivots connect to the same source table, you can control them with one single slicer.
