Single column against multiple rows

Hi, I need to analyze the pre and post data for a sales promotion. The promotion codes are in a single column and appear against each product represented in a single row with a corresponding date. As I select a promo code it only gives the promo period but not the pre and post period. Please refer to attached file for understanding.

Hello,

You can use PivotTable to analyze the data.. Click inside the data and select Pivot table under the Insert tab..

= SUBTOTAL( 109,D2:D452)

attached the file with the formula.
If you select the date in your table it will total the part of the table shown.
just take a look.
