When I use Vlookup and enter the formula, Excel finds the value I am looking for. But when I hit enter, instead of the value populating the cell in the spreadsheet, the Vlookup formula populates the cell. What am I doing wrong? With thanks in advance, MK

Change the cell format to General, press F2 and ENTER.
