Is there a way to let multiple users unprotect a co-authored sheet in 365?

Hi @cmajors11,

Under the ribbon tab go to > Review > Allow edit ranges 

you can set the ranges to each of you users and share them password accordingly.

What type of protection are we talking about ? AIP protection or in Excel content protection..
