Shaded Blocks

Copper Contributor

I was editing a table (My Med List) and I inserted 2 rows into the table. When I entered the data into the 4 columns, the 4th column Had a dark blue background on the first row and light blue background on the second. I tried to eliminate the shading by going into background and choosing white but that didn't help. Any suggestions.

I recently purchased a new MacPro and transferred files from my older version and I just installed Office 365 so that I could access my Office files. This may or may not be relevant to this issue.

That's the default formatting for a Table in Excel. If you can go to the Table menu on the toolbar, you should see some choices for alternative formatting. One of them--the one all the way to the left--is devoid of colors. But you might find you like some of the other color arrangements in the process.
