Series going outside of chart

 On left side i have Interest rates and on right GDP. I have filtered date to 1990 - 2006 in chart format axis side menu from total range of 1954 - 2015, my gdp seems to be in range but interest rate still showing to be in range of 1954 - 2015. Im using excel 2016. Thanks

Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?

Same problem with other charts in the worksheet.

Thanks. I think the cause of the problem is that you're trying to combine a line chart and an area chart.

I removed the second series(gdp) but still data going outside the chart. I even tried selecting specific data and date range instead of filtering from chart options, still no luck
