Scatter Plot formatting - How to keep the plot format when copying the plots?

Copper Contributor

I am trying to plot a lot amount of data in multiple scattered plots.  I usually format one figure first, with all fine adjustments like line color, style, font, grid line, scale, etc., then copy the figure multiple times, and then change the data source for each figure, in this way all figures are keeping the same format and scale.  However, in this latest version of Excel, each time I copied the figures and trying to change to new data set, the copied figure returns to the original format set, all fine adjustment lost. I have to reformat the line color, style, etc. again.  This becomes very cumbersome if more than a few figures are involved.

My question is: is there anyway to keep the format unchanged when copying the figure and change the data set?
