How do I save a cell with an incomplete formula to edit later?
Right now if I'm entering a long formula but it has a typo excel will terrorize me with error messages(including sound!) until the end of time or will delete the entire formula when I hit escape. No editor should delete things without user permission. Is there a way to turn off this annoying "feature"?
One work around I could think of was to at a single quote at the beginning of the cell to convert it to a string. But that is such a hassle.
