Hi, I'm trying to create a running total for a spreadsheet from an invoice template.
I am wondering how to keep the total running when I have closed the spreadsheet. Kind of like advancing the invoice number using Macros and VBA, but to keep the number of uses of a machine. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. As of right now, I have it so that there is a "maintenance" message allowing the person using the spreadsheet that once the number of uses reaches 700, it reminds the user to change the oil on the machine. If there was or is a way to "recall" the number that was in the cell from the previous invoice, and then add the new amount to it. That is what I am trying to do. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
