Good day everyone in this community of Excel users.
I wonder if anyone has resolved to program a consecutive entry number to each row for accounting purposes.
I’m very grateful, if you could give me a clue how to program this row number into an Excel sheet.
I’m working with a Mac Book Pro, Office 365 App.
Many thanks to the Person who find the time to provide me with an answer.
Kind Regards
Rolf

You can use a formula such as =ROW() or =ROW()-1.
If you enter your data in a table, the formula will automatically be propagated to each new row.
