# Return a value in a table from the x & y 'co-ordinates'

I have an excel table (25x by 25y values)

I want to enter seperate x and y values then return the relevant value in the actual table.

i.e.

Enter x value in one cell

Enter y value in another cell

Either: (ideally) Return x:y cell value

Or: move cursor to x:y cell

# Re: Return a value in a table from the x & y 'co-ordinates'

``=INDEX(\$B\$2:\$Z\$26,MATCH(D29,\$A\$2:\$A\$26,0),MATCH(D28,\$B\$1:\$Z\$1,0))``

Does INDEX and MATCH return the intended result?
