Hi there, I am trying to count the total "reds"/ total "whites"... counts are listed in column E. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

You are not using best practices.

 

1. Convert the list to an Excel table (CTRL-T). No blank rows/columns. Rename the table with a proper name.

2. Insert a pivot table: "Red or white" in rows area and "Count" in values area.
