Query Failure - Disable "Something went wrong" error message

Copper Contributor

I have an excel file that contains a macro that runs a query every five minutes, 24/7. Every month or so, there is an error and the query fails, causing an "Error, Something went wrong" dialog box to show up. I think it asks if I would like to "send a frown" to Office support, or if I would just like to continue. This pauses the macro until the error is acknowledged. once it is acknowledged, the query continues to run, but it requires logging into the machine and manually acknowledging the error.

It does not matter if a single instance of the data is missing. The problem is that there is no data pulled until the error gets acknowledged.

Is there any way to disable these error messages in excel from popping up? I did not screenshot the error message unfortunately.

If I can recommend you add an MS Excel file (without confidential data) or the VBA code to your question, please no Picture.

It is much easier for someone who wants to help to understand the subject, problem, issue.

A win-win situation for everyone.

Thank you for your understanding and patience
