I am not able to unlock the "protect workbook" When I entered the file password I get an error that it is not the correct password "The password you supplied is not correct. Verify that the CAPS Lock key is off and be sure to use the correct capitalization" I removed the password from the file but still getting this error.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Once you removed the password, the Protection is expected to be lifted without any further error.
You can send the Excel file to another system and try to see whether the error still persist after removing the password. Or, you send Frown Feedback to Excel
