I have a workbook with four worksheets of data and a fifth worksheet that summarizes that data using INDEX functions (referencing the first four worksheets).
I want people to be able to see the Summary worksheet but not edit it directly. But I want them to be able to modify the first four worksheets and have the Summary worksheet automatically updated accordingly. Is this possible?
I protect the Summary page to keep it from being edited directly but when I try to edit one of the first four worksheets, I get an error that the cell that I'm trying to edit is on a protected worksheet.
Am I going about it wrong?
