Programming error in Danish Excel for lists sourced by table names

Copper Contributor

Hi

This error might only be relevant for the Danish languaged version of Excel (Microsoft 365 version, fully updated).

When I make a list (drop down) in a cell, and I set the source to a named table (e.g. =NameOfTable), Excel correctly finds the table and mark the relevant cells/values of said table.

However, I cannot press "OK" and actually select the source, as the "There is a problem with this formula" pops up. This is clearly an error, as even the Danish translated guides from Microsoft show that same syntax.

Not sure how else to get this to Microsoft.

Thank you

Martin

@MFadmin You can't use table references in data validation. Nothing to do with Danish language. In the List box you can reference a named ranges, a dynamic array, a regular range or you type all the options in the box.But table references are not allowed.
