Processing order of key board event calling Worksheet.Change and Worksheet.Change in Excel

Hi,
I have a question about the processing order of keyboard events triggering a Worksheet.Change (e.g., tab, enter or arrow key) and Worksheet.Change. Older versions of Excel always seem to process the keyboard event before calling Worksheet.Change, but newer versions like version 2304 seem to randomly process the trigger keys either before or after.
This is now a problem if the VBA selects a cell in the callback because the unprocessed trigger key changes that selection. Is there a work around for this? Thanks!

Without some sample code and an explanation of how it behaves differently in different versions this is very hard to answer.
