Problems with emebedding PDFs in excel

My work computer was updated over the weekend, and I work extensively with embedding PDFs in Excel. Now, I can't embed PDFs in Excel, and I also get the error message "The source program for this object cannot be started." What can I do to resolve this?

Perhaps there is no software installed to open PDF's?

@JKPieterse Hi, no i have the software, and also have tried to repair it...
