Problem with tables in excel

About two/three weeks ago I noticed that filling the row below a table or filling a column right to a table was not recognized as a part of the table, I mean, the range of the table was not adjusted to include a new row or a new column. How can I adjust this feature again? Is it a configuration problem or any thing else. I'm using Office 365 & Win 10.
