I am trying to assign a name to a cell in an Excel file. I click in the cell and is basic address appears in the block at top left. I select that block, the address is blued over, and I overtype with the desired name. When I hit Enter, the name disappears and the address returns. The function to Add New Name in the Formulas/Name Manager options are greeyd out and inaccessible. The naming process works fine in other spreadsheets but not in this one
