When selecting a print area that will be multiple pages how can you get the document to print how you want it as far as what's on each page, without having to select and print each page individually?

I'm trying to print a document that should be 10 pages.  It prints a full page then a page with one line on it...prints a full page then a page with one line again.  So a document that should be 10 pages, turns into 20???
