Prevent blank cells when using a list

Are you able to stop people leaving blank cells in a list within excel?

Can i use this as well as a list in the same cells?
If you are restricting the user to select a value from a list, it means that you are using Data Validation feature. But, IF your case is to ensure a mandatory field will be filmes só it cannot have blank values, I would suggest you to make some visuals using conditional formatting.

@Juliano-Petrukio are you able to explain further as i'm not sure i understand.

 

I need them to select from a list to ensure that the data is consistent but i would also like to ensure that they don't leave a blank cell where information is necessary.
