Power Query Question

Copper Contributor

Hi,

As per the attached file, is it possible to get the output which is on the right side of the sheet. Left side one is the actual raw data.

@ParasUdani Perhaps by splitting up the query in three separate parts. See attached.

What if the category column is dynamic and it may have 15-20 categories. So this would become very much manual right ? (Currently for demo purpose - I just kept 3 categories). So is there a way in power query that it would identify unique Category and post which gives desired output. (horizontally left to right )??

@ParasUdani It's actually rather odd that you want to use PQ to go from nicely structured "raw" data to unstructured "final" data. One would usually go the other way around. Can't really think of a quick solution. Perhaps someone else.

You're right :)

Just that we need to work on some tracker and going it horizontally will give us more visibility in regards to multiple categories.
