Populating table

I am trying to creat a sheet with a productivity summary table based on dates. I have one sheet like a shift report that has date In one column and comments in a second column. I have another productivity sheet that can be filtered by week. In this I have a table that shows data from that week. I want to pull the comments into it from the original sheet against other productivity data.
How do I do this?
