I'm having a moment here..... I am creating a worksheet with multiple drop downs. But I can't get the dropdowns to auto complete. Ie I click the cell and type D and it gives me all options from my list that start with D.... what am I missing or doing wrong?

If you're using Data Validation with the List option: it doesn't provide autocomplete, sadly.

See Data Validation Combo box for a workaround.

In addition, that option is available in Excel Online. For the desktop version the workaround could be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqvB-DqIuP4

This searchable drop down list is dead easy, requiring no VBA/macros and no formulas! Download the Excel file here: https://www.myonlinetraininghub.com/searc...
