I need to know how to unlock excel cells the right way, can someone please help me?

Hi @AnthonyLewis426,

I'm guessing you mean the spreadsheet is protected and you can't edit it. In which case, in the ribbon, select  "Review" and "Unprotect Sheet" or "Unprotect Workbook".

If you are prompt for a password, type it in. if you don't know the password, you're out of luck ... at least in the legal side of thing. Sorry, can't help you cracking a password.

What's wrong exactly? I'm having a hard time understanding your request. You said "how do I get in", you mean the excel spreadsheet? If so, just double click on it.

Otherwise, attach a screenshot of any error message you may have to better assist you.
