First of all, let me start by saying that I am not very good with Pivot Tables. But, I have a workbook that was created before my time that we use daily so I need it to work correctly. There is a pivot table on Sheet 1 that is pulling source data from Sheet 4. There are 5 columns of data being selected based on a drop down list from the first column titled "Customer". The list of customers in the sheet is sorted A to Z. The problem is that in the drop down list of the pivot table, any new customers that are added to the source data are showing up in the drop down list at the bottom of the list and not in alphabetical order. I have tried sorting the data, refreshing the list, choosing the pivot table options and sorting A to Z (i think this refers to the sorting of the fields, not the data under the field heading title). I feel like this is something simple, but have searched the internet and have not been able to find an answer. Thanks in advance!
