Pivot Table Date Grouping

If using a pivot table and grouping by dates, is there anyway to show the latest value in group. I have a pivot table showing various items including some lines representing balances. The fields that are balances, I would like to show the latest balance amount in the group if I modify the date grouping.

@TRuss380 Sorting the Date will amounts to showing the date from the latest date.

@AshaKantaSharmaThanks for the reply. What do you mean by sorting date? The data is originally on a monthly basis. When I switch to quarterly grouping, this becomes an issue since there is no option for first or last in the summarize values. This is okay for some of the data that I am showing to just use summation given that they are income statement figures. Although, some of the figures that I am showing are balance statement items. For these I would like to show the last balance figure.
