SolutionThis setting works for values, not for rows labels.
In row labels as variant you may double click on any cell with (blank), aka edit it, and enter any desired text or space.

Hi @bartvana
this setting just appies to fields in the value area of the pivot table. It has no effect on fields in the rows or columns area, which is the case in your example.
The only way to suppress "(blank)" in row or colum fields is to create conditional formatting rules.
