New install of 365

Having just installed 365 on a new laptop, column identifiers in Excel are numeric.

I've never seen this before as it's always been in my experience to be alphabetical.

As it is now, I cannot make sense of the formulas I have input into previously created spreadsheets.

How can I make them alphabetical?

Select File > Options.

Select Formulas in the navigation pane on the left.

Clear the check box 'R1C1 formula style'

Click OK.
